PROFIMEX SUPPORTS
We will win together
Immediately with the outbreak of the war, we acted to ensure the safety of our company's staff members and the team was asked to work from home in the early days.
Profimex set up a fund with a significant amount, for the benefit of civil society activity, which was joined by investors and friends who asked to help. We drew up a strategy to manage the fund and the efforts involved:
1. In the first days, the donations are being used for projects and purposes that have a direct connection to the team. Then those which have a secondary connection to the team and finally for the benefit of projects and donations that are related to or recommended by Profimex investors.
2. In the first phase of the war, we will prioritize donations that will go directly to those areas most directly affected and to individual beneficiaries, rather than to organizations. After that, we will combine projects to donate to infrastructure organizations.
3. We will focus on supporting reserve and regular soldiers as well as civil society, especially those people directly affected by the war, such as evacuees from the Gaza envelope andwestern Negev communities.
In addition, we will report to the company team about the activity in a transparent manner and will act according to the prioritization of collaborations with other parties insofar as possible.
We will involve the Profimex team as much as possible in the projects and donations and we will encourage the team to contribute their time, energy and talents.
International Advocacy Efforts
Profimax uses its global network of contacts and memberships in various organizations abroad to promote Israel's advocacy efforts.
Profimex's strategic partners, who are leaders in their communities, most of them non-Jewish, emphasized their commitment to work with Profimex and the partnership with the Israeli company, and some of them made a contribution to the rehabilitation efforts.

GRANTS TO HEROIC ISRAELIS RETURNING IN RESPONSE TO THE EMERGENCY CALL UP
To help Israeli women and men who were abroad when war broke out, we established a fund to reimburse their expenses back to Israel.
Within days of the outbreak of hostilities, the IDF with philanthropists and Jewish federations, began to charter organized flights for those returning to fight in the IDF so that they would not have to pay exorbitant fares given the scarcity of flights to Israel.
To reimburse those soldiers who paid out of their own pockets in the first days, we were able to reimburse 17 female and male soldiers approximately NIS 45,000 following a video interview showing proof of their active reservist status and flight receipts.
This was made possible by funding from Profimex and a number of donors.

charge N fight
The charging stations
Each such fast charging station allows you to charge 6 cell phones (3 iPhones and 3 Android) of soldiers and quickly,
Every hour we will allow 60 - 120 soldiers at the same time (depending on the condition of their batteries) to charge devices in the assembly areas where we will physically arrive and be in touch with home
The solution
The solution - a mobile charging cart with dozens of fast chargers (30-45 minutes for a full charge) and a generator (and a supply of gasoline for the generator)
The problem
The assembly areas are a last chance to fill the cell phone battery before entering the combat zone.
The connection with home is important, not only for the soldier but also and especially for the family that takes care of the back.

Donation and assistance in the development
of the Iron Sisters HML
An inter-sector project that aims to integrate and regulate a large and organized infrastructure of female volunteers from the ultra-orthodox community in joining forces with women in the field in the 'Iron Swords' war.The vision of the project is to create a network of nurses in a nation where women who are on the home front hold the hand of their sisters who are now in distress due to the war.
This is what the "Iron Sisters" community center for ultra-Orthodox women looks like (which, by the way, is located inside a wig shop that donated the space), and this is one of the things that has kept me from falling into the abyss for the last few days. The reservists now have the opportunity to be hired en masse for the common good" and since that message I have been rolling along with them and remain.
speechless at the rate of progress
Today there are something like 150 neighborhood coordinators and over 1,000 female volunteers throughout the country.
I connected them with local "war rooms" and civil enterprises of various kinds that are now springing up everywhere and are doing amazing work. On Thursday they cooked Shabbat .meals for 320 families in Jerusalem alone.
Today, among other things, they found guest apartments in ultra-Orthodox neighborhoods for dozens of families, came to Nahem for funerals and sheba'ot, cooked 400 meals for soldiers, came to various hotels .to exercise evacuee children and cooked dozens of meals for evacuee families And now they want to reach women all over the country who need assistance such as cooking, help with the children, a listening ear and anything else.
The ambition is to match each volunteer family from the pool of volunteers who will accompany and assist over time in what is needed.
Because if politicians have been busy for years inciting hatred and division, we will create the change.
You just don't disturb me please

Development and management of a groups of volunteers - now more than 330 Israelis nationwide - who attend funerals, sit Shiva with the families, and visit the ill.
The group focuses on visits where there is lower participation due to a family situation or a temporary .move to another city.
The group is accompanied by three certified therapists who help the volunteers emotionally.
The volunteers work in urban groups and receive strong feedback from the families.
The Profimex team is active in Biocare as well.
Housing for Kibbutz Raim for the reconstruction period
Following a request from an investor, Profimax organized a group of women and businessmen from the real estate field who rallied to find housing for Kibbutz Raim members for the rehabilitation period.
Reim is a kibbutz in the western part of the northern Negev, in the Eshkol area, with 400 families, about half of which are kibbutz members. In the horrible surprise attack on Saturday, October 7, the kibbutz and its members were seriously injured.
As of October 13, 2023, the members of the kibbutz were evacuated to a hotel in Eilat, and they yearn to begin rehabilitating the community by living for a period of about a year in a centralized location.
Living in one complex and without waiting, will allow them to start rehabilitating the damaged community and support each other. That's why we are looking for 2-3 buildings that have finished construction in the scope of about 80-120 units that can accommodate all or most families. In order to maintain a physical connection with the kibbutz and start rehabilitating it as soon as the security situation allows it, the goal is to find a location that is up to an hour's drive from Marai, North Line, Gush Dan.
To our delight, the kibbutz received initial approval for housing in the Florentin neighborhood in Tel Aviv in the Ampa Yuvalim project. We continue to accompany the kibbutz in its rehabilitation efforts, including finding solutions for furniture and equipment.
The working group generated about 10 leads and we joined the Open Door project, which provides contractor apartments for families from "Otef Gaza" and evacuees from the northern border. The initiative takes the apartments, furnishes them and mortgages them for the long term, and allocates them to families with a minimum of two months at no cost.
At the moment, the project has about 1690 applications for housing and only about 300 apartments, so we continue to accompany this important project.
My name is Ayelet Zahavi.
Six years ago, together with my twin sister Hila Yeshayahu, I opened a small family restaurant, Haloheshet Lasirim - the Pot Whisperer,- in Kibbutz Einat with Home Cooking by a team of Jewish and Arab women, mothers… a small intimate place which feels like home.
After we heard the terrible news on Saturday morning October 7th,
We understood that amidst the chaos and confusion, our food could help many people…
We understood that we needed to start baking, cooking and sending food to the soldiers, to families in need who lost their homes, to families who lost their loved ones, and to the injured in the hospitals.
We closed the restaurant to guests and focused on volunteering and donating food.
Our beloved team of women immediately joined us. ...... friends, neighbors, and family members stopped their work and everyday lives and started working with us as volunteers.
The nightmare we are facing is not over. Every day the number of requests increases. We have become a center for distributing food as well as other items that are needed.
Today we are providing almost 1,000 meals a day.
The cost of providing 1,000 meals is $10,000.
We were supported by local donations and now we need your help.
Every amount you contribute is deeply appreciated.
Thanking you in advance,
Ayelet Zahavi

Letter to investors
Friends and partners, We are in the midst of unbearably difficult and painful days.
In this unimaginable reality, Profimex sends its support and encouragement to all the people of Israel. Our hearts are with the bereaved families, with the families of the abductees and with the families of the wounded and evacuated. As our security forces are strengthened, we pray for their safety.
At Profimex, we always do our best to help our soldiers and Israel’s civilians.
We have purchased ceramic vests for the unit in which the son of one of Profimex's employees serves, as soon as it was discovered that their unit lacked this life-saving equipment. The vests have since been delivered directly to the unit.
We purchased, collected, and continue to organize necessary equipment for soldiers, as well as plane tickets for reservists who are outside of Israel and wanting to return and join the fighting forces.
If any of you are interested in joining and assisting in any way, we can share with you the needs that come our way.
We pray for saner days soon. Take care of yourself and your loved ones.
